Updating database records

There are two functions you can perform when updating a database record. You can:

Modify a record
Delete a record
This section explains how to use the Database Manager window to modify records and delete records.

There are only certain fields you can modify. To modify a record, do the following:

1. Highlight the record you want to modify.

2. Click the Modify Record button.

3. Click OK to save the changes when you are done.

1. Highlight the record you want to delete.

When you delete a media, the entry remains, but the media is labeled `Destroyed'.

2. Click the Delete Record button.

3. Confirm the deletion.
