Working with merge and scan job scripts

Save your merge and scan jobs as a script

You can save any type of job as a script. The script will contain the source that you selected and the schedule information, if you scheduled the job.

Creating a script has the following advantages:

• You can re-use the same settings at a later time
• You can copy your settings to a different ARCserveIT host
• You can re-submit jobs quickly after a system crash

  You can find the commands for saving and opening job scripts on the ARCserve IT File Menu located at the top left of the Merge, Scan, Backup and Restore Manager windows.
