Load/unload media

If you need to change a specific media that is currently loaded in a drive, or load media because there isn't one in a drive, use ARCserveIT's Change Loaded Media function.

Steps for loading media:

Perform the following steps to load media:

1. Open the Device Manager.

2. Select the changer or one of its associated slots from the Device Manager window.

You must select the changer or one of its associated slots in order for the Load Media icon to be displayed.

3. Select Load media icon.

4. Select the media you want to load (or unload).

If you are unloading media, you can only select from media that's loaded.

	If you are unloading media, you can only select from media that's loaded.

5. Click Load (or Unload).

If you are unloading media, ARCserveIT unloads that media and returns it to its slot.
