Device characteristics and status information

When selecting the Device Manager's Detail tab the following device characteristics are displayed:

• Group name
• Cartridge name
• Format Code
• Compression
• Block Size

Checking the status of a device

The Detail tab also displays the following device related status information:

• Status of the device (idle, busy, etc.)
• Operation being performed (for example, format)
• Current SCSI command
