Objects that have been backed up with a session password, must have that password entered prior to restoring your files. When you submit a restore job that includes sessions that have associated passwords, ARCserveIT supplies a list of the sessions.
| If you have associated a session password with a particular backup session, you must supply that session password before ARCserveIT will allow you to restore that particular session. |
To enter the Session Password for a particular session:
2. Click the Enter Password button.
3. Enter the session password that corresponds to the session currently highlighted.

When submitting restore jobs that include many volumes (sessions), but don't require security associated with each session, use the session password found on the global options level. This enables you to enter a single session password for the entire restore job. |
