This report provides information about all of the backup sessions that are on media. (Each source you select to back up is saved on media as an individual session.) The report contains the information that is found when you view a Job or Media database record and click the Sessions button.
For each media session, this report includes the following:
When selecting this report heading, you can select to view "All Media", or just a media report for a particular media.
Unless your user profile is configured with the proper permissions, when you view this log you will only see information about the GFS rotation jobs you submitted. In order to see information about all of the GFS rotation jobs, regardless of who submitted them, your profile must be configured with the those permissions. See Setting up User Profiles for more information.
You can view this report to get a general idea of what is backed up on media when you need to restore files.
