This report includes all of the information found in the Database Media Session Report but also lists every file that was backed up in each session.
Unless your user profile is configured with the proper permissions, when you view this log you will only see information about the GFS rotation jobs you submitted. In order to see information about all of the GFS rotation jobs, regardless of who submitted them, your profile must be configured with the those permissions. See Setting up User Profiles for more information.
You can view this report if you need to know which files are backed up in each backup session. This might be useful when you need to restore files.
