To upgrade a LAN Manager server to an Advanced Server backup domain controller, follow the same steps used to install Advanced Server.
Remember that you will be prompted for the name of the primary domain controller, and an administrative account and password. (The default primary domain controller will be the name of the former primary domain controller.)
